Szybka Kolej Miejska is a local railway carrier and one of the elements of Warsaw Public Transport. We provide passenger transport services within the Warsaw agglomeration, on existing lines managed by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe.
Szybka Kolej Miejska was established with a notarial deed on 5 February 2004 (Rep. A No. 268/2004).
The first railway connection – the S1 line – was launched on 3 October 2005, between Warsaw West Station and Warsaw Falenica. Each year, we transport over 23 million passengers on four routes, with a total length of more than 160 km, connecting Warsaw with towns located within the agglomeration.
